Massively ambitious series that tells the entire Jonny story over the course of several seasons, with Jonny being played by three actors at different ages. Zac Effrom plays Jonny in Seasons 1 & 2 in which he lays the foundation of the Jonny personae based on his bizarre sexual, social and family history. Lin Minuel Miranda plays Jonny in Seasons 3 & 4 in which he captures the love of the world publicly while maintaining a highly guarded perverse and eccentric private life. Paul Giamatti plays present-day Jonny in seasons 5 & 6 when, after all his early ambitions have been met, he finishes his evil plot by going back to destroy anyone who stood in his way on his rise to the top.
